1. Skill Development Under Pressure

We go beyond drills. Players develop ball handling, shooting, and finishing in game-like situations, learning how to execute when it matters most, not just when it’s easy.

2. Game IQ & Decision-Making

Basketball is a thinking game. We teach athletes how to read defenses, make quick decisions, and understand spacing, timing, and flow - skills that translate directly to in-game success.

3. Competitive Toughness

Confidence isn’t given, it’s built. Through structured competition, players learn how to handle adversity, stay composed, and compete at a high level every possession.

4. Athletic Movement & Body Control

Footwork, balance, and coordination are foundational. We help athletes move efficiently and explosively, reducing injury risk while improving overall performance.

At COBE Basketball, we believe that basketball is more than just a sport. It’s a lifestyle that instills discipline, teamwork, and leadership in our young athletes. As coaches, we strive to create an atmosphere where these qualities can thrive. Our youth programs are designed to build the necessary skills and foster a love for the game. We are passionate about developing young players and providing them with the tools to succeed both on and off the court.

I have been playing and coaching basketball for over 40 years.  I won two provincial championships in high school,a National Championship in University and played two seasons professionally in Europe. I worked hard to go from being the 10th person on the bench to become the team MVP. I know what it takes to succeed, and I am committed to helping all young players reach their potential.

I have dedicated most of my life to the sport, having played four years with the Kingston Impact, five years at St. Lawrence College, and professionally in Thailand,  With a deep passion for the game, I look forward to guiding the next generation of athletes toward success.

I have a background in fitness & health promotion, and extensive experience asa Personal Trainer and conditioning coach.  I am a certified OFC Personal Trainer (Platinum Level), OFC Group Fitness Instructor, and holds Standard First Aid & CPR.
